Case studies Stellar Development Foundation

Stellar, in real life.

When people doubted crypto, the useful answer was a use you could point to. I created a tag for every one of them: #StellarIRL.

  • Senior Manager, Public Relations and Communications
  • 2022 to 2023

#StellarIRL

My tag, on 11 of my posts in this role. The chief executive's line set the tone: every time she went to Congress, it was “to talk about the use cases.”

One story, everywhere.

The releases and the press on the left, my posts on the right, in date order. Every card links to the original.

What the numbers did.

The fund, the aid program and the network belong to Franklin Templeton, UNHCR, the Stellar Development Foundation and their partners.

My part

  • Led public relations and communications at the Stellar Development Foundation, 2022 to 2023.
  • Created #StellarIRL (my account).
  • Worked with industry partners on the fund's story and secured coverage in Fortune and WIRED (my account).
  • Quoted by Cointelegraph on crypto in Latin America.

How I read it

Doubt doesn't move for adjectives. It moves for a use someone can check: aid that reached people, cash in and cash out, a regulated fund on a public chain. The tag kept every post pointed at that.
